Well, to my one noble reader (2, maybe?), I wanted to drop a small update on the main action of the week.  I sit here in Cabo, Mexico, enjoying my vacation time, but I assure you I shall drop a few updates over the week.  Back to regular posting on Sunday!Big news of the past […]

When is the idea of the “Redneck NASCAR fan” going to finally come to an end? I do so tire of hearing phrases such as these. While I swear I generally try to stray from political conversations, the presidential election will make a small appearance here.
Back in 2004, the press picked up on […]

Jamie McMurray sucks. Openly sucks.
We’re talking about a fella who was 2003’s rookie of the year. This guy was top 15 in points for 2003-2005. He won the Pepsi 400 at Daytona last year and went on to finish 17th in the points for the season. This all goes to show […]

For all those watching the pre-race coverage, how great was it that Mountain Dew gave DW his 1981 Mountain Dew Oldsmobile that he had won with at Bristol? That was a really cool move by Mountain Dew and NASCAR. Also, on the subject of pre-race coverage, how cool was it when the fans […]

Jeff Burton pulled off the win at Bristol after some late in the day theatrics. Much more to come later.

The best race of the year is here, but NASCAR’s most loyal follower this season - the rain - has shown up at Bristol. With the exception of Las Vegas, rain has heavily impacted every race so far. Without musch practice time, and no qualifying, it is hard to predict what the event […]

1) Kyle Busch is looking to go for 2 […]

Darlington just played host to a Goodyear tire test this week. Goodyear invited Jeff Gordon, Ryan Newman, and Greg Biffle to come to the newly re-paved Darlington Speedway. Judging by the resulting speeds clocked on the fresh pavement, we could be on the verge of seeing one of the fastest races that has […]

I’ve held back long enough. Generally, I am the last person in the world that has a right to speak on another person’s style, no matter what. I’m going to keep this short and sweet, unlike a certain driver’s haircut.
The mullet is a hairstyle that is, at best, repugnant. It is one […]

We have been inundated with bad talk about the tires Goodyear provided for Atlanta. Drivers complained about the tire being nearly undriveable. Meanwhile, Goodyear says that they issued a harder tire to deal with the more abrasive surface of the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Apparently, folks aren’t seeing eye-to-eye on this deal.
Dale Jr., who […]
